Wyoming Steel and Recycling is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving Wyoming and surrounding areas for nearly four decades. Dedicated to providing competitive prices and exceptional customer service, we offer a variety of services. These include a convenient drive-thru recycling center, scrap metal purchasing, and new steel sales.
Our History
In 1987, Dennis and Sherry Rivett opened a small scrap metal recycling yard. Over the last 39 years, their modest operation has grown into a full-service metal recycling center, meeting the needs of large energy corporations and individual citizens alike. Through the years, our company has since expanded to include a wide array of new steel products, a drive-thru non-ferrous recycling warehouse, and an immense scrap steel yard with an entire section dedicated to salvage pipe. Their son, Shane Rivett, grew up in the family business and learned the ropes from his parents. He now helps run the company and is in charge of non-ferrous metal buying. Wyoming Steel and Recycling is a family business, and our employees are an important part of that family.
